Minimal social insurances contribution to be established in Moldova

Chisinau, 13 July /MOLDPRES/ - The cabinet of ministers today gave a positive note on a draft law which regulates the establishment of the minimal social insurances contribution, worth 50 per cent of minimum salary on the country. This will represent the minimal ceiling, from which the monthly social insurances contributions are calculated and paid, thus guaranteeing a decent quantum of social insurances’ payment, the government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The legislative initiative proposes also the setting of a new mechanism of re-examining the old age pensions and disability pensions. Thus, the new formula provides for totalizing the payment of pension for the retirement contributions and the monthly insured average valued income got after the establishment of the pension, with the quantum of the pension calculated before the reexamination.
The document also sees giving the National Social Insurances House (CNAS) the right to put down the data in the personal accounts of the insured people, who failed to present in the term established the Declarations of insured people (Rev-5) by the payers of contributions who were liquidated or under liquidation. Thus, the insured people who establish the right to pension will be exempted from the presentation of confirmatory documents on the employed at the concerned economic entity (employment record book, extract from order, etc.)
