Moldovan parliament declares two MP mandates vacant

Chisinau, 14 July /MOLDPRES/ - The parliament today declared vacant two MP mandates belonging to the Faction of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists.    

Thus, the parliament adopted a draft decision on the resignation of lawmaker Ala Dolinta, who submitted an application to this effect on 11 July 2022.  

At the same time, the MPs adopted a decision, thereby declaring vacant another lawmaker mandate, following the death of MP Elena Bodnarenco.

Under the law on the status of lawmaker, the MP mandate is assigned to the alternate candidate on the list of the electoral bloc.
