Thirteen people summoned for hearings following searches made at Trmoelectrica stock company of Moldova

Chisinau, 15 July /MOLDPRES/ - Thirteen people have been summoned at the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office (PA) for hearings as suspects following searches carried out at the Termoelectrica stock company in a file on abuse of power on 14 July.

According to PA, officers and prosecutors made 13 searches in job offices of Termoelectrica employees regarded in a criminal file opened for abuse of power. The people are suspected of having faked procedures of public procurements for contracting works of equipment’s repair.

The criminal prosecution on this case was started on 12 July and the abusive actions would have been committed by the members of the working group during May-June.

Following the searches, prosecutors raised more documents, rough copies and information bearers. They are to be investigated along with other evidence administered in the file.
