Term of contest for office of councilor for settlement of claims of Moldova's National Agency for Settlement of Claims extended

Chisinau, 18 July /MOLDPRES/ - The parliamentary commission for economy, budget and finances has extended the term for submitting files for the selection of candidates for the office of councilor for settlement of claims of the National Agency for Settlement of Claims (ANSC). The participants in the contest can submit files to parliament till 26 July 2022.
According to the regulation on the way the contest is organized and carried out, candidates should have a length of service of at least ten years in the legal, economic or technical sectors, as well as an experience of at least three years in the public procurements sector.
ANSC has seven councilors for the settlement of claims, who have status of public officials. Under the law on public procurements, they are appointed by parliament with the votes of the majority of the MPs present at the meeting, at a proposal by the commission for economy, budget and finances. The councilors for the settlement of claims are appointed for a period of seven years, without possibility of renewing the mandate.
