Over 500 servicemen trained in Bastion 2022 exercise

Chisinau, 21 July /MOLDPRES/ - Over 500 servicemen, carabineers, policemen, as well as employees of other power-wielding structures today participated in a command and troops exercise, Bastion 2022, held at the military training base of the National Army.   

Lieutenant-colonel Veaceslav Corcodel has said that the trainings’ goal was to enhance the inter-operability of the National Army’s strength with other power-wielding structures from Moldova and namely with representatives of the Interior Ministry, State Protection and Guard Service, Intelligence and Security Service and other structures.    

The trainings were also aimed at training general staff officers from power wielding structures, as well as at developing the abilities of the strength for fulfilling missions in peaceful times, in crisis situations or anti-terror actions. At the same time, the participants in the exercise made shootings from infantry weapons and trained at various places.

The command and troops exercise, Bastion 2022, is held in accordance with the training plan of the National Army for this year.
