Israeli consular section ceases activity in Moldova

Chisinau, 24 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has informed the Moldovan Foreign and European Integration Ministry that the activity of the consular section of the Israeli Embassy in Moldova ceased starting from 19 July, Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The Israeli authorities said the decision was taken in the context of decreasing the number of visa application, as a result of abolishing of short stay visas in Israel for Moldovans on 15 December 2014.
Thus, the Moldovans are to address as to consular services to the consular section of the Bucharest-based Israeli Embassy:
