Weather to slightly cool, short rains expected in Moldova on next seven days

Chisinau, 1 September /MOLDPRES/ - The State Hydro-meteorological Service has forecast a decrease in the maximum air temperature to 20-25 Celsius degrees for 2-8 September.

According to meteorologists, short electrical storm rains are forecast in north Moldova in some regions for 3-4 September and in places all over Moldova for 5 - 8 September.

The night-time minimal air temperature will drop from +18 - +23 degrees on 3-6 September to +12 - +17 degrees on 7 - 8 September.

During the day, the maximal air temperature will stand between +30 and +36 degrees on 2, 3 and 4 September and will gradually decrease from +28 - +33 degrees to +20 - +25 degrees on 5-8 September.

According to multi-annual data by the State Hydro-meteorological Service (1886-2014), the maximal air temperature in Chisinau on this period was +33.1 degrees on 2 September 1990 and the minimal one - +7.3 degrees - on 2 September 1915.
