Moldovan government to back partnerships contributing to country's prosperity - PM

Chisinau, 3 September /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet today participated in a ceremony on opening of ZIPhouse Centre for Excellence and Acceleration in Design and Technologies (CEADT) at the Moldovan Technical University (UTM), the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
In his speech, the premier emphasised that CEADT was a successful example of synergy of efforts between the private and public sectors, represented by an educational institution, namely UTM. "The result proves that, if there is will and efficient collaboration between partners, things have visible finality and with lasting effects on beneficiaries," he said.
After cutting the ribbon, the prime minister was invited to Centre 's rooms, where students will hold seminars and organise fashion shows and photo sessions.
Strelet congratulated the teachers and students on this performance, wishing them useful experience at the Centre. He noted that the government would back the partnerships which contributed to the prosperity of the country.
The ZIPhouse Centre for Excellence and Acceleration in Design and Technologies was created under the aegis of the Education Ministry, with the financial support by the US Agency for Development (USAID), in partnership with Light Industry Employers' Association of Moldova. USAID offered 225,000 dollars to build the centre, and UTM invested 100,000 dollars.
