Highest temperatures recorded on this period in Moldvoa

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/ - The maximum air temperature in Moldova on 1 September registered +38.4 degrees Celsius at the Tiraspol Weather Station and on 2 September +38.6 degrees at the Falesti Weather Station Făleşti, which was recorded for the first time ever since the beginning of instrumental observations, according to data by the State Hydro-meteorological Service.
According to meteorologists, the average temperature on 1 and 2 September was +27 and respectively +30.1 degrees Celsius.
The State Hydro-meteorological Service has forecast a decrease of the maximal air temperature on 7 – 10 September. Thus, in northern Moldova the day-time temperature will oscillate between +20 and +23 Celsius degrees, in central Moldova – between +21 and +24 degrees Celsius, and in southern Moldova – between +22 and +25 degrees Celsius.
According to the State Hydro-meteorological Service's multi-annual data /1886-2014/, on this period, the highest air temperature in Chisinau was +32.6 degrees Celsius on 5 September 2009.
