Poland further supports Moldova's European path

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet today met Polish Ambassador to Moldova Artur Michalski. The officials noted the evolution of bilateral ties between Moldova and Poland, referring in particular to the development of economic cooperation and agricultural projects carried out by Polish investors, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.

The prime minister underlined the importance of Poland’s support for Moldova in the European integration process. "We appreciate your support in promoting the export of Moldovan wines and agricultural products on the EU market. We also note the Polish financial support provided under the Development Assistance Programme, which represents a real support in continuing domestic reforms to modernise the country", Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet said.

The Polish ambassador reiterated the firm support for Moldova's European aspirations. "We are more interested increasing the share of Polish investments in Moldova's economy, which would lead to the development of innovative, competitive projects, thus contributing to a sustainable economic growth of the country", the Polish official said.
