Chisinau, 7 September /MOLDPRES/ - Tens of people continued to protest on the Great National Assembly Square (PMAN) today too. The protesters demanded that authorities consider their claims.
About 90 tents were set on the square. The protesters said they would not leave, unless their claims, voted at the 6 September protest, among which organisation of snap elections and resignation of the Moldovan leadership, are fulfilled.
The protest's organisers added that they were waiting to discuss with the leadership and had sent letters with claims to embassies and development partners of Moldova as well.
The Moldovan president's spokesperson, Vlad Turcanu, said that he did not know whether the head of state would meet protesters.
Thousands of citizens protested on PMAN on 6 September, demanding, in particular, that the authorities organise snap elections.
