Chisinau, 11 September /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet today signed an instruction addressed to ministries and other central administrative authorities, thereby asking, first and foremost, to initiate the updating of the nominal composition of decision-making bodies (colleges), by mandatory inclusion of active and relevant representatives of the academic environment and civil society, the government's communication and media relations department.
The document stipulates that the proposals on the nominal composition of decision-making bodies of ministries and central administrative authorities are to be presented to the State Chancellery within a seven-day term, in order to be approved by a single government decision.
This request to revise the colleges' composition is aimed at more actively involving the civil society in the government and decision-making process, offering them expressly the right to deliberative vote and not only consultative.
Issues of the activity and policies promoted by the state institutions, as well as their draft decisions are discussed within the colleges of ministries or other central administrative authorities. The number and nominal composition of colleges is approved by the government, upon a proposal of the ministry or director general.
