China to further support development of Moldova

Chisinau, 16 September /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu met new Chinese Ambassador to Moldova Zhang Yinghong today, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
The officials broached the boosting of the Moldovan-Chinese inter-parliamentary dialogue, development of bilateral ties in railway infrastructure, agriculture and expanding of economic and trade cooperation between Moldova and China.
Candu thanked China for the support provided to Moldova and praised the initiative to include Moldova in the Silk Road
Economic Belt, which represents a great infrastructure project with a huge investment potential.
At the same time, Andrian Candu spoke out for bolstering cooperation ties at inter-parliamentary level and informed about an initiative to create a parliamentary group of friendship with China.
For his part, Zhang Yinghong underlined that China would further support Moldova's development. Yinghong also informed Candu about an initiative by the vice president of the Permanent Committee of National Assembly of China to pay an official visit to Moldova.
Zhang Yinghong also said that the Moldovan wines became more and more appreciated in China, stressing that the import of Moldovan wines recorded a continuous increase in the first three months of 2015.
Adrian Candu wished Zhang Yinghong every success in exercising his mandate and a successful mission, meant to contribute to boosting the Moldovan-Chinese relations.
