Romanian Chamber of Deputies president to visit Moldova

Chisinau, 17 September /MOLDPRES/ - Romanian Parliament’s Chamber of Deputies President Valeriu Zgonea will visit Moldova on 18 – 19 September, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
The visit's agenda includes meetings with Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu, President Nicolae Timofti, Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman.
The meeting of Parliament Speakers Andrian Candu and Valeriu Stefan Zgonea, due at the State Residence, will be followed by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Moldovan parliament and the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian parliament. Subsequently, the two officials will hold a joint press briefing.
The visit of the president of the Chamber of Deputies of the Romanian parliament in Chisinau fits into the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation to back Moldova’s European integration process.
The delegation also includes representatives of parliamentary groups, members of the Chamber of Deputies Niculae Mircovici, Ionel Palar, Ioan Balan, Marian Neacsu, Stefan Burlacu, Aurelian Ionescu, Nicolae-Liviu Dragnea, Istvan Erdei Doloczki, unaffiliated MP Eugen Tomac.
Parliament Speaker Valeriu Stefan Zgonea’s latest visit to Moldova was in April 2014.
