Parliament speaker requests IMF to assess activity of National Bank of Moldova

Chisinau, 21 September /MOLDPRES/ - Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu requests the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to carry out an independent expertise as to activity of the National Bank of Moldova when fraudulent transactions in the Moldovan financial and banking sector were made, the parliament's communication and public relations department has reported.
Candu informed about the intention to address a letter in this respect to IMF at a news conference on parliament's priorities for autumn session on 10 September.
