Chisinau, 29 September /MOLDPRES/ - Seven public institutions have excluded the compulsoriness to present the extracts of State Register of legal entities and private entrepreneurs. Another five state institutions are to implement the same procedure during the month of October, according to a press release by the Economic Council to the Prime Minister.

Changes were made upon the request of Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet, who demanded the Justice Ministry to work out a regulation on modification of all government decisions implying the providing of the mentioned extracts when permissive documents issued or services provided. The instruction is to be executed till 25 October.

The first public institutions which already do not request extracts to be presented are the National Metrology Institute, Statistics Publishing House, Culture Ministry, Information Technology Service of the Interior Ministry, CRIS „Registru”, Transport and Road Infrastructure Ministry, Agriculture and Food Ministry.

The Economic Council's Secretariat specifies that the abolishing of providing these extracts will contribute to „gradually de-bureaucratise more processes such as procurement, agriculture subsidies, fiscal and customs management”. Moreover, entrepreneurs will not be obliged anymore to present extracts on paper and to pay two additional visits in order to apply for and pick up this intermediary document, with additional costs for transport, human resources and time.

In 2014, according to data provided by the State Registration Chamber, total costs covered by business people for getting the extracts reached the amount of 8 million lei.
