New beneficiaries of Romanian assistance to be identified in Moldova

Chisinau, 29 September /MOLDPRES/ - Government Secretary General Serghei Palihovici today chaired a working meeting with heads and deputy heads of Territorial Offices of the State Chancellery, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
The participants discussed priority aspects of activity of the institution. Among which were participation of State Chancellery's representatives in developing those 5 million euros of assistance by the Romanian government, planned for modernising Moldovan kindergartens. Palihovici requested to be identified, as soon as possible, kindergartens which need this assistance and said that priority would be given to kindergartens where renovation and endowing works are almost completed. Serghei Palihovici also suggested the opening of kindergartens in settlements where no such institution is, and free areas resulted from schools optimisation to be used in order to institutionalise pre-school age children.
The participants also addressed other important issues. Palihovici underlined the importance of executing responsibilities provided to representatives of the State Chancellery in the territory and requested to be presented reports on coordination of activity of decentralised public services with local public administration and to organise joint meetings in order to ensure an efficient communication.
