Moldovan, Georgian premiers discuss bilateral relations

Chisinau, 1 October /MOLDPRES/- On a visit to New York, Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman, has met Prime Minister of Tbilisi Irakli Garibashvili, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
The officials appreciated the pace of development of relations between the two states. They approached perspectives in different cooperation sectors. The sides opted for increasing the pace of economic exchanges between the two countries.
Streleț and Garibashvili exchanged opinions about the actions carried out by the two states in European integration process. They agreed on the need to exchange experience in this respect.
The premier invited his Georgian counterpart to pay an official visit to Moldova in the nearest future, in order to deepen the bilateral political dialogue.
