Moldovan foreign minister meets Vietnamese ambassador

Chisinau, 6 October /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Tudor Uliavovschi today met Kiev-based Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Moldova Nguyen Minh Tri, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The Moldovan official noted the positive dynamics of the relations between the two countries, particularly in areas such as the pharmaceutical and agricultural sectors and the need to fully turn into account the existing potential of economic cooperation and boost the Moldovan-Vietnamese trade. Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Tudor Uliavovschi said that Moldovan producers, especially those in the textile and wine industries, were in search of new markets and even investment capital in possible businesses.
Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tri said that investors from his country were open to the Moldovan market, Vietnamese market already being familiar with Moldovan products. Furthermore, the official asked for the support of Moldova in the cooperation between Vietnam and the European Union, in this case the draft on partnership and cooperation, which would result in the signing of an agreement between Vietnam and the European Union.
The Nguyen Minh Tri also launched an invitation for a delegation from Moldova to visit Vietnam, to strengthen relations and sign possible economic partnerships.
