Moldovan government expresses condolences to Turkish cabinet

Chisinau, 12 October /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet has sent a letter of sympathy to his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu over the terrorist attacks from Ankara, in which numerous people were killed and injured. Valeriu Strelet conveyed deep condolences to the mourning families, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
"In these moments of ordeal, on behalf of the Moldovan government and on my own behalf, I express you our feelings of compassion and solidarity," the letter says.
On 10 October, two blasts occurred in the capital of Turkey, Ankara, during a peace rally. At least 100 persons were killed and another 200 were injured in the wake of the attack. Three national mourning days were decreed in Turkey.
