Chisinau, 23 October /MOLDPRES/- Moldova will switch to winter time on the night of 24 to 25 October 2015. Thus, the clocks will be put one hour backwards on Sunday at 3.00 a.m, and this day will be the longest of the year.
According to sources from the government, “the change will be made in compliance with the proposal of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), simultaneously with the EU-member states”.
Experts say switching to winter time may cause discomfort and anxiety due to a change in the human body’s biological rhythm. However, psychologists affirm that it is more of a psychological problem.
The switch from the summer to winter time takes place in approximately 69 European states, by observing the meantime zone differences.
