Moldovan acting premier expresses condolences for Turkey terror attack victims

Chisinau, 12 January /MOLDPRES/ - Acting Prime Minister Gheorghe Brega conveyed a message of sympathy to Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on a suicide attack which occurred in Istanbul today, the government's communication and media relations department has reported.
In the letter, the acting prime minister expressed condolences for the attack's victims, on behalf of the Moldovan government, as well as of the entire society.
"I was deeply grieved to learn about the explosion that took place in Istanbul, in the wake of which people were wounded and killed. We are with those who suffered and the grieving families. On behalf of Moldova's government and on my own behalf, I express our feelings of compassion and solidarity, and sincere condolences to the mourning families," says the letter signed by Gheorghe Brega to his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu.
The acting prime minister expressed sympathy to German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel too, as citizens of Germany also died in this tragedy. "In these sad moments, we are by the side of the mourning families, whom I ask you to convey condolences," says the letter sent to the German chancellor.
