Moldovan foreign minister receives congratulatory message from Romanian counterpart

Chisinau, 24 January /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur has received a congratulatory message from his Romanian counterpart Lazar Comanescu on his swearing in office, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry's information and media communication service has reported.

In his message, the head of the Romanian diplomacy stressed the importance of the concrete reconfirmation of the European commitment and energetic enforcement of the reforms' agenda, in order to achieve the ambitious objectives the new Moldovan cabinet has set. ''I assure you of my full support, as well as of the one of the Foreign Ministry of Romania for your efforts of developing the bilateral Strategic Partnership and for the advancement of Moldova's European agenda,'' minister Comanescu said.

At the same time, the Romanian foreign minister voiced hope to have a meeting with his Moldovan counterpart as soon as possible.
