Moldovan PM meets top European bank representative

Chisinau, 9 February /MOLDPRES/-Prime Minister Pavel Filip today held a meeting with Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Representative Office in Moldova Julia Otto, the government’s communication and press relations department has reported.
During the talks, the officials exchanged views on the social-economic situation in Moldova and in the region. They have also touched upon the bilateral cooperation framework.
Filip spoke about his intention to consolidate Moldova’s sustainable partnership with EBRD, inclusively to back the government’s agenda of reforms. “I and my team want to regain the confidence of Moldova’s foreign partners. The priorities of the government action programme comply with the goals of EBRD’s strategy for Moldova,” the Moldovan prime minister said.
The sides have also tackled the projects EBRD had already implemented in Moldova, as well as opportunities to continue new positive achievements through new collaboration programmes.
EBRD has implemented more than 110 projects in various fields in Moldova since 1992 until now, focusing on economic, agricultural, tourism, communication, infrastructure and energy development.
