Moldovan president to visit Romania

Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/- President Nicolae Timofti will pay an official visit to Bucharest on 16-17 February, the presidential press service has reported.

In Romania, Timofti will meet Romanian President Klaus Werner Iohannis, Prime Minister Dacian Ciolos, President of the Senate Calin Popescu-Tariceanu, as well as other top officils.

The sides will approach issues related to the bilateral relations, Moldova’s European agenda, as well as the economic, political and social cooperation.

Nicolae Timofti also will hand distinctions, earlier offered to President Klaus Iohannis, the head of the Romanian Interior Ministry’s Department for Emergency Situations, Raed Arafat, and Romanian actor Florin Piersic.
