Chisinau, 10 February /MOLDPRES/-The Moldovan cabinet and parliament will hold a joint meeting on Friday to discuss the evolution of the implementation of Moldova-EU Association Agreement. A statement to this effect was made by Prime Minister Pavel Filip during today’s cabinet meeting.
“We discussed and agreed on it during the intergovernmental meeting on EU integration, when we ascertained that there were certain arrears in this field. Therefore, both the government and the parliament must take enhanced efforts to speed up the adoption of documents needed to fulfill the commitments,” Filip said.
Filip required his ministers to carry out an extensive analysis of the enforcement degree of the legislative programme providing for the implementation of the association agreement, taking into account the draft laws on the agenda of the parliament and the evolution of the elaboration and promotion of the remaining drafts.
The parliament’s priorities for its spring-summer session will also be established during the joint meeting.
