Moldovan PM, government’s territorial representatives discuss cooperation

Chisinau, 11 February /MOLDPRES/-Prime Minister Pavel Filip today held a meeting with the heads of the State Chancellery’s territorial branches. Attending the event were government’s Secretary General Tudor Copaci, as well as government’s Deputy Secretary General Valentin Guznac, the government’s communication and press relations department has reported.
The prime minister touched upon the short and medium-term actions the Moldovan government is going to take, emphasizing its full determination to act firmly in order to steer Moldova out of crisis, unblock ties with foreign partners and improve life standards.
Filip highlighted a string of goals set up by the government’s representatives in the territory, meant to implement the provisions of the government action programme, its priorities and the approved action plan. He added that the State Chancellery’s territorial branches were the connection between the local public administration and the government.
The Moldovan prime minister has also pointed out the important need to mobilize resources and efforts in order to overcome the financial-economic crisis and lay the foundation of a sustainable economic growth and development. He also spoke about the need to resume investment projects as soon as possible and find optimal solutions for people’s problems and difficulties. In this context, Filip called on the government’s regional representatives to hold an open dialogue and constructive collaboration.
Ten territorial offices of the State Chancellery, with more than 70 employees, represent the Moldovan government throughout the country.
