Moldovan foreign minister receives congratulation message from Dutch counterpart

Chisinau, 15 February /MOLDPRES/-Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today received a congratulation message on his appointment into office, from Dutch Foreign Minister Bert Koenders, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.

The Dutch official welcomed the new Moldovan government’s intention to build a prosperous country in tight cooperation with the EU and International Monetary Fund (IMF). In this context, he emphasized the important need to fulfill the commitments provided in the EU Association Agreement and overcome the challenges Moldova is currently facing.

Koenders reiterated the availability of Netherlands and EU to back Moldova and offer support in the implementation of necessary reforms, focusing on the supremacy of law, curbing corruption and financial reform in particular.
