Over 40 Romanian companies informed about business opportunities in Moldova

Chisinau, 18 February /MOLDPRES/-The investment opportunities in Moldova have been presented to business people from Cluj county, Romania, at an event dedicated to strengthening the economic relations and facilitating information on the investment climate between the two countries. The event was organized by the Economics Ministry, in cooperation with the Moldovan embassy in Bucharest and Chamber of Commerce and Industry from Cluj on 17 February.

According to the Economics Ministry’s press service, over 40 Romanian companies, representatives of Moldovan companies in trade, industry, energy, agriculture, transport, information technology, constructions, education, services etc. attended the event. The Moldovan delegation was headed by Deputy Economics Minister Vitalie Iurcu, accompanied by representatives of Free Economics Zones and Industrial Parks.

In the context, the official unveiled the investment and business opportunities from Moldova and presented information about the advantages offered by the Industrial Parks and Free Economic Zones. Iurcu said the promotion of investment attraction policies was a priority for the Moldovan government.

At the end of the event, the Moldovan delegation answered questions by entrepreneurs from Romania. At the same time, the delegation members assured the Romanian business people of the needed support within fact-collecting visits to Moldova.

On the same day, the Moldovan delegation visited several technological parks from Cluj, to exchange experience and good practices. Also, the deputy economics minister met representatives of Endava company, which has representative offices in Moldova, Serbia and Macedonia, and discussed cooperation possibilities.
