Moldovan foreign minister meets, Polish, Belarusian ambassadors

Chisinau, 18 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today had separate meetings with Polish Ambassador to Moldova Artur Michalski and Ambassador of Belarus to Moldova Sergey Chichuk, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
At the meeting with the ambassador of Poland, the sides made a short review of the up-to-date issues on the bilateral agenda. The officials paid special attention to further promotion of the political dialogue at different levels, boosting cooperation in the trade and economic areas, as well as carrying out concrete projects in sectors of common interest. In this context, Andrei Galbur thanked the Polish government for a 100-million-euros-worth loan provided for Moldova’s agro-industrial sector. He voiced confidence that the money would be fully turned to account by Moldovan famers. Galbur also thanked for the support offered by Poland to implement the agenda of European reforms.
During the meeting with the ambassador of Belarus, the sides highlighted the positive dynamic of the Moldovan-Belarusian ties. At the same time, the diplomats emphasized the mutual interest in fostering the political dialogue and extending the bilateral cooperation in the trade and economic areas. In this context, the officials stressed the importance to carry out the agreements reached at high-level meetings.
