Moldovan PM conveys condolence to families of victims of road accident in Ukraine

Chisinau, 22 February /MOLDPRES/-Prime Minister Pavel Filip conveyed a message of condolence to the families of victims of a road accident occurred near Jovteni-Starie Maiaki settlement, Odessa region, on 21 February. He expressed deep regret for passing away of the three Moldovans, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.

The premier asked the specialized institutions to operate all procedures for repatriation of the deceased persons and counseling of their relatives.

At the same time, Filip was informed about the health condition of the people hospitalized in health centres from Sireavo and Liubasovka cities, and asked authorities to involve in the case.

According to the preliminary information, on 21 February 2016, at 03.00, a bus with 37 Moldovans heading for Moscow-Cahul, skidded off the road. The causes and circumstances of the accident are not known. The case is being investigated.
