Moldovan wines receive ten medals in international contest

Chisinau, 23 February /MOLDPRES/-Moldovan wines were awarded five golden medals and five silver medals in the largest “Berliner Wine Trophy” international contest, in Germany, on 4-7 February 2016.

According to the press service of the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry (MAIA), golden medals were awarded to Moldovan wines like Carpe Diem Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Equinox Merlot 2011, Gogu Winery Blanc de Merlot 2015, Equinox Echinoctius 2012 and Equinox Rara Neagra 2014.

Asconi Sol Negru Chardonnay 2012, Carpe Diem, Feteasca Regala 2015, Minis Terrios Pinot Noir 2014, Vinaria Nobila Feteasca Neagra 2013 and Equinox 5 elemente rosu 2013 wines received silver medals.

Participating in the competition was a record number of 5,200 wines.
