Moldovan premier, Czech ambassador discuss bilateral ties

Chisinau, 25 February /MOLDPRES/-Prime Minister Pavel Filip held a meeting with Czech Ambassador to Moldova Jaromir Kvapil today. The officials tackled the consolidation of Moldovan-Czech ties in various sectors, the government’s communication and press relations department has reported.
On the occasion of Kvapil’s expiry of ambassador mandate, Filip thanked him for his prodigious activity and personal contribution to the development of Moldovan-Czech relations. “We continue to spoke out for boosting up bilateral collaboration based on trust and friendship,” the prime minister said.
Also, Filip thanked the Czech government for backing Moldovan students, by offering annual governmental scholarships.
For his part, the Czech ambassador said Czech Republic would further back Moldova’s EU course and modernization reforms.
The officials broached the development of Moldovan-Czech commercial-economic ties, ways to turn this potential to good account and improve cooperation in other fields, such as wine, agriculture and energy sectors.
