Norway to further back Moldova in promoting reforms, modernisation

Chisinau, 26 February /MOLDPRES/ - Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur today received Bucharest-based Ambassador of Norway to Moldova Tove Bruvik Westberg, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication service has reported.
The two officials pointed out the positive dynamic of the Moldovan-Norwegian bilateral ties, and expressed confidence that the relations would witness an ascendant development in the long run as well. In this context, Minister Andrei Galbur thanked the government of Norway for the assistance provided to Moldova to promote structural reforms and implement social projects. In particular, it is about the projects carried out through the Norwegian Mission of Rule of Law Advisers to Moldova (NORLAM), as well as the ones on good governance, strengthening institutional capacities and social inclusion of persons with disabilities.
For her part, the Norwegian diplomat reiterated her country’s willingness to further back Moldova in its efforts of promoting reforms and modernize the country.
