Chisinau, 1 March /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign and European Integration Ministry informs that the agreement between the Moldovan government and the council of ministers of Bosnia & Herzegovina on visa free travels of citizens, signed in Tirana on 22 May 2015, entered into force today, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s (MAEIE) information and media communication service has reported.
Thus, the citizens of both countries are exempted from the obligation to hold a visa to enter, transit and remain on the territory of the other state for a period of up to 90 days during 180 days starting the day of the first entrance.
At the same time, MAEIE warns that the exemption from the short-stay visa does not give the citizens of a state the right to be employed on the territory of another state. The needed requirements for the employment visa, education visa, family reunification and visa of long-stay on the territory of the states will be regulated by provisions of the national legislation of these countries.
