Moldovan parliament appoints new members of national public broadcaster’s council of observers

Chisinau, 4 March /MOLDPRES/-The parliament today adopted a draft decision on appointing some members of Teleradio-Moldova national public broadcaster council of observers.
The council is made of nine members, the new ones appointed today being Nicolae Spataru and Marina Turcan.
Nicolae Spataru is a writer. He was born in 1961, Hirbova village, Herta region, in Ukraine. He graduated the Romanian Language and Literature Faculty of the State University from Cernauti in 1983. He is also a member of the Moldovan and Romanian Writer Unions as well as the PEN club. Spataru was awarded the debut prize of the International Book Salon from Chisinau.
Marina Turcan is a journalist. She was born in Chisinau in 1985. She graduated the Journalism Faculty at the Slavonic University. Turcan been a news correspondent at the “Comunistul”(Communist) newspaper since 2008.
The decision enters into force upon the date of its approval.
The members of Teleradio-Moldova national public broadcaster council of observers are elected for a four-year mandate.
