Moldovan top court validates mandates of two lawmakers

Chisinau, 16 March /MOLDPRES/- The Constitutional Court (CCM) today validated two MP mandates for the Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM). It is about alternate candidates Valentina Rotaru and Serghei Chiseliov.
The two mandates remained vacant in parliament, after PDM lawmakers Constantin Botnari and Iurie Cazacu had resigned.
Valentina Rotaru was born in Pereni village, Hincesti district, on 5 February 1968. She is a doctor. Rotaru has earlier acted as head of the pediatrics department at the Valentin Ignatenco Municipal Hospital for Children, head physician of the Railway of Moldova central clinical hospital and head of pediatric nephrology department at the Mother and Child Institute. Presently, Valentina Rotaru is holding the office of Deputy Health Minister.
Serghei Chiseliov was born in the Balti municipality in 1970, and is a manager. He is former chief of the Olimpia club. Presently, Chiseliov is serving as director of Tellus Ltd company.
