Four Moldovan citizens hurt in road accident in Romania

Chisinau, 17 March /MOLDPRES/-Moldova’s General Consulate in Iasi (Romania), informed the Foreign and European Integration Ministry that a car accident took place near Pascani town, Romania, at 4:15 in the morning today. Involved in the accident was a tour bus Chisinau-Paris, with 14 passengers aboard, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media communication department has reported.
According to the above-mentioned source, seven victims were hurt and two of them were hospitalized in severe condition at the Neurosurgery Hospital in Iasi. The rest of them were carried to the emergency hospital in Pascani town, to receive medical treatment and then to be released. Four Moldovan citizens, including one in severe condition, were among the victims.
The Foreign and European Integration Ministry in cooperation with the Moldova’s General Consulate in Iasi are permanently keeping in touch with Romanian authorities to offer specialized assistance, if needed.
