Moldovan government expresses sympathy to victims of Brussels blasts

Chisinau, 22 March /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Pavel Filip today conveyed a message of sympathy to his Belgian counterpart, Charles Michael, and to the Belgian people, on the tragic events occurred today morning, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
“I was deeply indignant and sorrowed to learn about the terrorist attacks committed in Brussels today, in the wake of which people were killed. These are inhuman and outrageous acts which we firmly condemn. On behalf of Moldovan people and on my own behalf, I want to convey sincere condolence to you and the entire Belgian people. In these difficult moments, we are by the side of the mourning families and the families of the injured, and assure them of our our deep compassion. I ask you, Your Excellency, to convey the sincerest condolence to the families and relatives of victims, as well as quick recovery to the injured,” the message says.
At the same time, the prime minister conveyed a message of encouragement and every support and solidarity of Moldova to the Belgian authorities, who are facing dramatic, unprecedented ordeal.
The prime minister believes that the acts of violence against innocent people cannot be justified in any way. “I firmly condemn the acts of violence. All of us must be united and strong, facing such ordeal,” he said.
Today morning, more people were killed and the others injured, in the wake of strong explosions occurred in the capital of Belgium.
