Chisinau, 30 March /MOLDPRES/-Moldovan farmers will now be able to import diesel fuel directly from refineries starting with 1 April, after they get an authorization from the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) to this effect. Prime Minister Pavel Filip during the cabinet meeting today asked Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Eduard Grama to ensure the necessary conditions to make possible the import of diesel fuel by farmers.
“Starting with 1 April, farmers will be able to import diesel fuel directly from the producers. Therefore, they will save money on the fuel’s acquisition price. I will ask minister Grama to provide all the necessary conditions in this sense. I also call on ANRE to help farmers get import authorizations now, and as quick as possible, in order to remove existent bureaucratic barriers,” Filip noted.
ANRE has previously announced that farmers, who are registered as juridical persons, may apply for diesel fuel import authorizations starting with 1 April. The fuel shall be used for equipment, transportation, agricultural machines or directly into the agricultural activity. Farmers will get such authorizations from ANRE, upon their written petition.
