Moldovan premier instructs creation of permanent committee on monitoring

Chisinau, 30 March /MOLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip, at a today’s cabinet meeting, informed about the signing of an instruction on the creation of a permanent committee on monitoring cases of increased social interest under the government of Moldova, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
Under the prime minister’s instruction, the committee’s goal is to ensure an efficient interaction between the state’s institutions.
“When it comes to cases with major impact on the society, such as the bank fraud, possible cases of money laundering, special situations, which affect a large number of people, the committee will be that very platform of quick communication, of partner-like type, within which the participants will discuss, inform, analyze and monitor developments, in order to contribute to their settlement as soon as possible,” the prime minister said.
The committee will coordinate the work and will ensure interaction between the state’s institutions, in order to efficiently and quickly manage cases of increased social interest, will identify impediments in the process of interaction between the state’s institutions and will undertake necessary measures in order to settle them.
The decisions of the new structure will have a character of recommendation for the concerned authorities and institutions and will be implemented in line with their competence established by the legislation in force.
