Chisinau, 19 May /MOLDPRES/ - The Organisation for Development of Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises Sector (ODIMM) on 18 May signed an agreement on partnership with the National Youth Council of Moldova (CNTM) – a structure which brings together 46 youth organisations from all Moldovan districts.

According to ODIMM director general Iulia Iabanji, the signing of the agreement will facilitate young people’s access to trainings, seminars and workshops organised by the institution within its programmes, especially the National Programme for Youth Economic Empowerment (PNAET), Efficient Management of Business (GEA), etc. In this respect, the young people will be able to benefit also from the facilities provided by the nine business incubators, opened by ODIMM in Moldovan districts, in which 150 residents work.

For his part, CNTM head Terentie Carp welcomed the initiative of the Organisation for Development of Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises Sector to initiate a partnership. He stressed that ODIMM activities and programmes would allow young people within organisations to orient themselves easier in the business sector and create new jobs.

Representatives of the two organisations agreed to work out an educational programme on this purpose and to carry out, in partnership, events dedicated to economic empowerment of young people.

ODIMM is a public, non-commercial, non-profit institution, working in subordination of the Economics Ministry and in coordination with the other central and local authorities, business associations, providers of support for business and small- and medium-sized enterprises.
