Moldovan foreign minister meets TIKA chairman

Chisinau, 23 August /MOLDPRES/- On an official visit to Turkey, Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur has met the chairman of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), Serdar Çam, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.
Galbur highly appreciated the actions taken by the Turkish government to consolidate the bilateral cooperation via TIKA programmes, carried out in Moldova, especially, in such sectors as: health care, education, environment protection, agriculture and food safety.
A special topic was related to initiate projects meant to restore and highlight the medieval historical monuments, Tighina fortress and Orheiul Vechi museum complex, styles of common historical heritage.
Attending the event was MP of Moldovan parliament Corneliu Dudnic, who reiterated wishes of people in the south of the country on implementation of a project on aqueduct construction in Vulcanesti town.
