Chisinau, 24 August /MOLDPRES/ - The 29th and 30th August 2016 have been declared days of rest, by a decision approved today in the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
So, the Moldovans will have five days off in connection with the Independence Day and the celebration Limba Noastra (Our Language).
The project provides for August 29 and 30 to be considered rest days and Saturdays, 24 September and 22 October 2016, as working days.
Opening the Government meeting, Prime Minister Pavel Filip asked the Interior Ministry leadership, particularly the Border Police and Customs Service, to take all measures to ease traffic at the border to the fact that during the period 27 to 31 August many Moldovans will decide to spend this mini-vacation in neighbouring countries.
The call was made in a context where lately the border between Moldova with Romania and Ukraine, in both directions, exit and entry were endless queues of several kilometers. "The sufferings experienced by the Moldovan families with their children, the waiting conditions, lack of sanitary facilities, can not leave us indifferent," said the Premier.
