Chisinau, 1 December /MOLLDPRES/ - Prime Minister Pavel Filip, at a today’s cabinet meeting, congratulated the Romanian nation and the Bucharest government on the National Day of Romania, the government’s communication and media relations department has reported.
The prime minister thanked for the constant support provided by Romania to Moldova. Pavel Filip stressed that, in the hardest times, when the foreign financing was blocked and Moldova needed help, the Bucharest colleagues provided a loan worth 60 million euros. “Congratulations, Romania! We thank our friends from Bucharest for support and we assure them that Moldova will be further consistent in the goal of the country’s European integration,” the PM said.
At the same time, the prime minister specified that, beyond projects and financings, the special attitude of friendship on behalf of his Romanian counterpart Dacian Ciolos had been always important. Filip added that the objective of Moldova’s rapprochement with EU can be achieved with the support of Romania and assimilating the experience of those who have already covered this way of European integration.
