Moldovan-Serbian political consultations held in Belgrade

Chisinau, 7 December /MOLDPRES/- On 6 December, the Moldovan-Serbian political consultations led by Deputy Foreign and European Integration Minister Daniela Morari and Serbian Assistant Foreign Minister Goran Aleksic, were held in Belgrade, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.
The agenda of talks was focused on the Moldovan-Serbian relations, evaluated via the cooperation with EU and exchange of experience in the European integration, including strengthening the current legal framework, ensuring the regional security and coordinating the activities within the international and regional organizations.
Morari had a meeting with the National Assembly European Integration Committee Chairperson Marinika Tepic. They reiterated setting relations at level of parliamentary friendship groups and relevant commissions.
The Moldovan delegation held talks with representatives of the premier’s Office for European Integration. A special attention was paid to the integration into EU area, latest developments in negotiation with EU, coordination of European integration agenda at national level. The sides agreed on the exchange of good practices in communicating with the European partners and taking over experience in using EU programmes and assistance instruments, as well as mechanisms on implementing priority reforms.
The sides reconfirmed the cooperation commitment in areas of mutual interest and support in terms of European integration.
