Moldovan, Russian officials broach cooperation

Chisinau, 9 December /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur met his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, on the sidelines of the participation in the OSCE council of foreign ministers, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.

The officials approached a lot of issues related to the perspectives for Moldovan-Russian cooperation, need to promote the bilateral political dialogue in order to identify mutually acceptable solutions to relaunch relations in the priority development areas.

The sides highlighted boosting the political dialogue during the year, holding the 14th meeting of intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation, as well as organizing two rounds of interministerial consultations.
