Moldovan foreign minister meets counterparts of Estonia, Slovakia

Chisinau, 9 December /MOLDPRES/- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Andrei Galbur met Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Miroslav Lajčák, on the sidelines of the 23rd meeting of the OSCE ministerial council, the Foreign and European Integration Ministry’s information and media relations service has reported.
The two officials exchanged opinions about the current stage of Moldovan-Slovak relations, internal and regional situation in Moldova. They discussed the cooperation within the Visegrad Group and bilateral projects in assistance for development funded by Slovakia.
Also, Galbur met his Estonian counterpart, Sven Mikser, expressing interest in continuing using and extending the bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
A special issue on the agenda was related to Moldova’s European integration, including cooperation within the Eastern Partnership. In the context, Galbur thanked for the constant support and assistance for development provided to Moldova, contributing to implementation of internal reforms on the country’s modernization.
