Moldovan foreign ministry makes specifications on detaining of ministry's employee

Chisinau, 12 December /MOLDPRES/ - The Foreign and European Integration Ministry (MAEIE) has taken note of the detaining of the head of the public relations department at the consular affairs general directorate, Nicolae Nuca, the MAEIE information and media communication service has reported.

The ministry will cooperate with the inquirers and will make available all needed information to bring clarity to this case.

At the same time, the ministry deems it necessary to appeal to the law-enforcement bodies, media and public about the observance of the presumption of innocence of the detained person, stipulated in Moldova’s Constitution.
