Moldovan top court decision on validation of presidential election results to be delivered at 16:00

Chisinau, 13 December /MOLDPRES/- The Constitutional Court (CCM) decision on validation of presidential election results will be delivered today at 16:00.

The chairman of CCM, Alexandru Tanase, made the statement after a notification on behalf of PAS had been submitted to CCM.

“Unfortunately, we will announce later the court decision, because the notification on behalf of PAS leader Maia Sandu was submitted today. We have heard just now the arguments and we will need time to draft and prepare the final decision by CCM,” Tanase said.

At the same time, more media outlets announced that CCM would have validated the results of elections, which was not true and represented misinformation of citizens.

If the presidential elections are validated, new president is to take the oath before the parliament and CCM during 45 days after elections.
